Wondering if it is worth the hassle to try to apply. What was involved in your application? Do they count savings as part of your income?

Thank you. Do you know what is required as proof of income? Is paystubs/letter from employer enough or something else is required?

Also dh is in kollel and has a base salary but also gets shmiras sedarim if applicable etc. How does this work?
