HELP!!!! awful smell in sheital

I live in a city with no sheital macher.

I was visiting family recently so I took my lace top sheital to a sheital macher to wash.

I picked it up and noticed it had a strong smell, like medicated shampoo. Not very pleasant, but ok.

However, when I wore the sheital, I got a really bad headache. I get a headache from chlorine in swimming pools and cleaning spray as well so I guess I am sensitive to whatever is in the shampoo she used.

I asked her to wash it again - I said I was happy to pay again, and took it back to her. She said she had given the sheital a conditioning treatment and that was the smell.

Picked it up the next morning, not sure what she did - maybe just conditioned it, because she asked me to bring my own shampoo but she just took my condtioner. She also didn't charge me again, although I would have been happy to pay. It still smells of the weird antiseptic smell. I am scared to wear it because I got a really bad headache from it. bh I have 2 sheitals and so I am wearing the other one.

What can I do without re-washing it? I am pretty clueless with a blowdrier and its a lace front wig, I don't want to ruin it.

will the smell disappear with time? Leave it next to an open window?

Just wait until I can take it to another sheital macher? (a couple of months?).
