Does this even exist?
I see standard prices between 60 and $70 for a wash and set that doesn't even hold long enough
I don't like doing my wigs too often
Can anyone recommend from personal experience only, a shaitelmacher that is good, has a flair, and doesn't rip you off

Yes that's the price but you're best off looking for those just starting out & are willing to do for cheap to build a reputation.

Panim Yafot has a base price, but randomly upcharges for every small thing. I've used them 2-3 times, but decided it wasn't worth itCurls extra $5-10. You want to put 2 bobby pins in? That's $4 each. And they tell you when you pay that you need to tip the worker. In the end it comes out closer to $60.

Another vote for Ruchy (Ackerman)! She's great and my wigs always hold up by her. I generally wash every 4-6 months
