Has anyone had a similar experience.
Child had strep and pneumonia at the same time, last May. Since then had symptoms of anxiety. Blood work showed elevated thyroid antibodies in September and elevated pneumonia antibodies. Repeated blood work in December and the thyroid antibodies are slightly higher, pneumonia antibodies the same and now ANA positive1:80 titer. ANA is new.

Not sure what specialist to go to…..

Any leads? Our pediatrician is on vacation and the other doctor in the practice was not sure.

Ana is for a rheumatologist . - so
Interesting cuz I had phenumonia in July and since then anxiety and tingling in my whole body went to a few diff drs . Was tested my Rheumotoglist for a zillion things and Ana came back high same 180 like your saying but so far he’s on vacation and didn’t get back to my I asked my neighbor who’s a Dr and he said it doesn’t really mean anything cuz other bloodwork was fine . But I’m x sure . Hope u get answers cuz I certainly am not .

Same story with dd
Rheumatologist said Ana is high and it’s nothing
I was also convinced that her anxiety is caused by it

If your child's only symptom is anxiety it's doubtful that any mainstream doctor will take this seriously. They'll probably just tell you it's insignificant.

If you want real answers you'll need to find a provider who thinks out of the box.
