I Try to use it sparingly but I don’t like the green spices floating around. Am I imagining it or did it used to come without it.

This is funny because my children have the same problem. They don't like the look of the parsley. You can try using bouillon cubes instead, or try to just live with the existence of parsley, as I am hoping my children will.
