Would love out of the box creative and meaningful gifts for a wonderful husband who doesn't want or need anything.

The greatest gift for him would be if I didn't spend any money at all, but I'm open to all ideas and suggestions.

Design an invitation and send it in the mail to him for an “all expenses paid” day to hang out with you. Plan an itinerary based on off activities you think he’d enjoy, going out for breakfast, going for a walk, a picnic for lunch, etc.

8 small gifts-one for each night of chanuka. Like a mini flashlight-you light up my life, heart shaped cushion or squishy-you are my heart, mini train-riding the journey of life together, and whatever other thing you want to make up.

Have any ideas for the other 5 nights?

We just discovered a site called dayuse. You can reserve a hotel for daytime while the kids are out of the house and be back before the busses. You buy good takeout brunch, eat, and relax.

I found it brilliant.

I loved your idea so much! Thank you!!

Came up with some more of my own to share if anyone else wanted ideas.

Most of these things I already have in my house - so no cost, and truly its the idea behind each one that is meaningful.

squeezable mini heart - only you can make my heart go thump
flashlight - you light up my life
mini train - enjoying our journey through life together
mini notebook - loving writing the chapters of our story
tube of lube - you make me wet
puzzle piece - my perfect fit
candy - sweetest thing in my life
superhero figure- you are my superhero

Photobook with the best memories of your relationship.
A book of gift vouchers for date night/ a massage/ special treat, that he can 'redeem' when he'd like

Maybe his favorite food?
My husband's favorite gift is when I cook him a nice meat for dinner during the week.

Thank you.

He so chilled about food - would eat 3 days of leftovers without blinking an eye (and yes, I do make fresh food too Wink )

I just want to say thank you again for your idea - my husband loves it!

He especially loves that I didn't spend money, and I made it really cute so it's personalized and special to him.

I couldn't find the squishy heart (although I know it's definitely somewhere in the house) so I wrapped a super glue tube instead and wrote "you're the glue that holds us together".

I wrapped each little gift, put a clue on the outside, ie. You make my world a brighter place" for the flashlight, and told him he needs to guess what each is before he opens it. It happens to be adorable!

Thanks you!

Wanted to do the same kind of thing for his birthday which is right around the corner, so I printed father mad libs papers, and had my kids fill it out - it's hysterical and adorable what they put down in their own words - I'm going to wrap them each up and present it to him with a few other things I found for myself to print out and fill in that are specifically from me.

There really are so many personal and money free things that we can come up with with a bit of creativity.... And truly I think they are so much more meaningful and personal then say a high end watch.
