I'm sure its my fault because it's my first time shopping at that store. I brought food for the next 2 weeks amounting to $85 minus $15 which was towards WIC. Plus another few dollars for kids shampoo, a pack of deli containers, and static guard. In total it was $105. We are in a very rough patch right now so someone made an account for me there at the store last month and they put money in it. I had $51 left in that account. We also just got ebt which should be enough to cover the next month IYH. So first I pay with WIC. There goes $15 for food. I have my baby with me and she promptly had a massive blowout. Then I pay with ebt. I brought cheapest meat for chulent, deli meat for sandwiches, 2 cheapest chicken packs of 4 (around 7-9$ a pack), 2 milks, 2 packs yellow soup croutons, 1 salad mix, 1 frozen chicken nuggets, a small cake for shabbos for the first time, 1 brown sugar, and 1 pack white rice. I looked for the cheapest in everything.
Anyway, they took off from the credit on the grocery account, then paid $105 with ebt (????)
Which shouldn't have included the non food items.
Before you all call me stupid and attack me, I NORMALLY look at my receipt but my baby was screaming at this point and I had to rush home. She is prone to horrific rashes if I don't change her right away and when she has a rash it is impossible for me to do anything around the house because she wants to be held. Yes, we have a cream for the rash.
What do I do now? Is there anything to do even though it's the next day? Please KINDLY advice me.

The groceries usually have everything recorded on their computer systems, you should probably still be able to talk to them about it the next day
(I’m referring to stores in USA don’t know where you are located)

If she's giving prices in dollars, and is talking about WIC and ebt (what are they?), it's a fairly safe bet that she's in America.

Go back and speak to the manager.
Someone recently gave us a $200 gift card to a grocery store. Dh attempted to use the gift card and wanted to pay the outstanding $7 on credit card. The cashier didn't understand and when she saw that the gift card wasn't enough, she charged the entire amount on the cc. Dh didn't realize until he saw the statement. He went back over a week later and the manager was ok with fixing it.

Of course it's not too late to go speak to the store manager. But wondering why the milk wasn't covered by WIC?

I work in a Grocery store and absolutely have fixed people's bills after the fact.
Note, the non food items that were paid with EBT probably were accidentally checked off in the computer as being paid by EBT otherwise the system wouldn't have let the EBT work. Kindly let them know to check that all item that are checked off with EBT are correct.
It could be that it's the default for groceries and either the shampoo and things are under their grocery category or they were under the household and accidentally checked off as EBT

EBT allows returns anyways, unlike WIC so just go back in and correct it

You’re right, I was in middle of going to sleep and didn’t really think. Right before I posting I thought it’s very late maybe she is in a different time zone.. my tired brain did some thinking but not completely:)
