What I can tell you sort of a segula for a nes…. Do something for hashems children and speak to him directly how he should do for you as his child. Doesn’t have to be a lot of money, just something that would make a father want to gift you.

I cannot disclose but I would have to come up with 200k, possibly more in a very short period of time. Clearly hashem wants me to go through the challenges just don’t know what he’s expecting from me and how am I ever going to finish paying all this off.

Rimnitzer tzion in monsey is well known for yeshious

Yes I had nes Chanukah. Went to see the lighting of koshnitza menorah. Long story how I actually found it but that’s not the point here.
When it was my chance to give kvittel I said what I was there for and the room with gabbaim fell silent, no one would meet my eye. Rabbi have a Bracha and we left. Within two weeks x sent messenger that he wants to give get.
Each year I called the gabbaim yo ask about the menorah, five years later I heard it’s back. Naturally I went and this time asked hashem to find zivug. Within the year I was engaged.

Where is it? Do they have it this year?

I had a neis happen to me yesterday!!
I really can't say a lot of details but my (young) dc was under someone else's responsibilty and he got lost for some time BH BH he was found totally okay and unharmed!! Could have ended really badly
honestly am still really shaken up but based on the story, a lot of things could have gone wrong and it was a neis that none of them happened!

What nes are you hoping for op?
Just b/c you think it would be good for you , doesn’t mean Hashem agrees
He knows what’s best whether you agree or not. Or see the big picture. You don’t
It doesn’t matter how much you beg & plead

It doesn’t work that way

So true. That was my pre-Chanuka miracle...I fought so hard for something and it was a pure neis that HKBH didn't let it happen!

My neis that I’m waiting for is me-al derech hateva. Like a pure neis. I’m so so burnt from begging and crying and davening. I give up!!!

I'm SOOO sorry for you, OP. Hugs are not enough. Because sometimes the answer is no. I don't have to go daven anywhere. I daven in the comfort of my home, straight to Hashem. No middleman. I truly hope you get your needs met and I'm davening for you. Heart Heart Heart

I would say yes, though some could say it's not obviously unnatural.

Since last Summer there was a project I wanted to do, I tried starting it a few times and it went nowhere, gave up, by Hanukkah time last year I thinking it would remain a pipedream, but I really really wanted it. Wasn't sure I was even capable of doing it, especially since I tried a few times and didn't get anywhere.

I'm posting this under my screenname, so I don't want to give too much away, but let's just say my goal was akin to running a marathon -- something a lot of people might want to do but few actually finish.

Last Hanukkah I read of the Zos Chanukkah segula. On the 8th night, I wrote a note, thanking HaShem, asking that I succesfully finish this project, and promising to publicise if I was succesful.

At first, it seemed to go nowhere. I said "okay, I'll allow myself to just do preliminaries until July, but if this doesn't get off the ground by July, I have to give up and move on".

July (2024) I got really serious, and saw much success, and only days before Hanukkah, I finished!!!

I really do feel like it is a neis, for two reasons (1) the few false starts which seemed like derech hateva, and (2) that I finished right before Hanukkah.

I have another, similar project in mind, actually already started, and on the 8th night I will do the same segula for success on this follow up project.

❤️

A family member has been helping us with tuition. We can't afford it. Year after year they said they would pay the full amount and BH they did though it was later and later through the year. The school was getting upset because it's winter and we haven't paid yet. I gave the money in my savings account but it wasn't nearly enough. Finally yesterday things came to a head and they finally gave us a check. I was at the point to ask the school for a serious scholarship but BH an erev Chanukah miracle and we are paid up for the year!

Other nisim: my parents got engaged on Chanukah (second wedding for both), sister was born on Chanukah (geriatric pregnancy)

OP I daven for you that you should get your nes.

I was reading Mishpacha yesterday and it made me really angry. It's true it's a time of nissim but not every story ends well and by painting these glorious pictures, sometimes it increases our emunah and sometimes it increases our bitter disappointment when to us Hashem says no.

We found out we were expecting after a bunch of IF cycles (over a year). It was our last cycle because I couldn’t anymore, it was killing our family. Then I started bleeding and it wasn’t looking good. Then the week before Chanukah, it was looking good thanks to Hashem. Now I have the flu on Chanukah so no comment. Can’t wait to tell the kids they’ll get that long dreamed about baby.

I think it gives false hope. I don't think we see true nissim today and if we do they are very very few. Has someone's amputated limb grown back? Did a paraplegic wake up and start walking? Did the poor people all win the lottery? Did a childless woman in her 50's suddenly get pregnant? Did an unmarried older single have a baby lo al pi teva?

None of this is even slightly beyond hashem. He can make any of these miracles happen just as he makes the miracle of the sun rising every day. But he doesn't.

Instead I'm reading that anyone who got engaged, got married, got pregnant, or had a baby, experienced a chanukah miracle. Seems like we are reaching here to be honest.

I would say these are times where Hashem answered our tefillos... Not that a miracle happened

A neis is above tevah. Can every gentile, every Muslim who has a baby, recovers from illness, avoids an accident, finds a good job, or anything good happen say that their prayers were answered and they experienced a miracle?

How do we separate miracles that hashem performs for us, his beloved children, from how hashem runs the world at large? Can the people who are alive in Gaza all say that hashem protected them since there were thousands of bombs near them and they are still alive so therefore hashem gave them a neis? Would that be fair to say?

Really, all teva is a neis, so anything even me'al derech hateva is possible - if it is decreed from above. Hopefully you will get what you want, but even if you do not see anything, know that your tefillos have not gone to waste.
