This year I bought a set of Ohr Candles Chanukah EZ Light Jelled Olive Oil 44 candles burns 2 1/2 hours and wonder if anyone had the same experience?
The candles burned the wicks for about 1/2 hour and then went out. The jelled olive oil did not liquify.
I threw out the bill from the store at which I purchased item. Anyone know who the manufacturers are? I paid about $25 cdn for this kosher product that doesn't work as designed!

Had the exact same experience! I do have the receipt from the store tho cause I got it in Gourmet glatt and they emailed it to me. But now what?
My husband tried relighting and the flame kept going out!
He even tried adding olive oil and a new wick and the flame didn't last!
Anyone know who owns the company?
I'm wondering if these batches are old and congealed so will not liquify?
If the gel is supposed to liquify, what is the purpose of buying the jelled candles? I'm going to get the liquid oil, ready to light candles today!
I'm sad that these are still being sold in stores, probably from previous years which reminds me of the boxed square Shmure Matzos which are sold here in Montreal at IGA stores Pesach time and are rancid!
