Baking for years...
Lately, same recipes are not coming out the same. What's wrong?
I cream oil with sugars (I always used oil instead of marg)
Mix all carefully.
No idea why the batter gets thick and cookies are dry.
I keep on re trying. Same recipes no longer have same results.

Maybe your oven isn't working properly.
Get an oven thermometer to check.

That's what I thought. It's not the best oven (electric wall oven, new) . Temp keeps dropping, (appliance guy said its normal to drop almost 50 degrees) And the stuff gets baked in the end. It's so frustrating..

Flour is same. Eggs might be the issue. I got cheaper eggs by the case - they are large instead of XL.
I was wondering if the oil has changed, but maybe the eggs are the issue.
