Does anyone know which store or stores are going to take the place of stop and shop in jackson? It's closing soon, and I'm so curious to know. I live nearby and it's great for quick errands.

Whoever does open up a store there should make sure the location has the right clientele for the neighborhood.

Sounds like it was more complicated than that and related to a din Torah with a nearby store.

Thanks. You know I've been there 1000 times and I never noticed it....I go to that Target and Lowe's and Kohl's all the time.
It would be awesome to have a well-priced Kosher supermarket there (though I wonder how that will jive with stores in the area, like Gourmet Glatt and NPGS Jackson, which are the closest supermarkets in the area.)
