Whatsapp only. I need it for all the messages from the kids' schools and teachers and for my job. And yishuv/neighborhood messages. Hardly any social stuff. Most of it is purely practical.

I don’t see whatsapp as SM. It’s a regular messaging app.

It has many groups that are not regular messaging and work exactly like Facebook.

It must depend on one's age and what community one is from.
Im in the DL community, 45 years old.
I have school groups, yishuv groups, family groups, work groups. Thats it. I also dont see it as social media. Never thought of it that way. Its just a way to communicate with other people. But its also used a lot that way in Israel, more so, as Ive heard, elsewhere.

I don't see Whatsapp as social media. Either way, I probably use Instagram more.

WhatsApp status is definitely a form of social media, and even without that, the groups/ community are a form of social media.

I use WhatsApp regularly, but not the status part. Just groups and messaging.

I go on Facebook a few times a week, but I don't spend much time there.

I have a LinkedIn profile, but don't use it. Once a month or so, I'll accept any new invitations from connections.

That's it. It's not that I'm too noble to go on Instagram, TikTok, and other social media. I'm just too old and tired LOL

I don't really like any of them. That's not to say I don't use any unfortunately, but there is way too much opportunity for time wasting and getting caught up in other people's business. Out of all the major platforms I only have WhatsApp (which I use exclusively for messaging and mute most statuses) and a Facebook account which exposes me to a bit of Instagram. I don't use any of the others. I wish I could kick the habit altogether. I found recipes, useful products clothing and set my table very nicely way before SM.

I use whatsapp to send messages. Never seen a status. Wouldn't even know how to find it. I don't consider that social media usage. I do use Facebook.

I voted Instagram only.

I use WhatsApp only for texting purposes

I do see why it can be called social media. Because people get hooked on statuses and groups.

I think it's popular among people who don't (want to) have access to insta/Facebook/web browsers.
