If it makes you feel better, my teenager found this style at Marshalls (or TJ Maxx?) for about $30
There's no way she's wearing real fur.

This website sells the most amazing beautiful furs - hey really look and feel like the real thing.
I got throws from my house but my friend and her mother got jackets and vests and loved them.
They aren't cheap but the quality is amazing so worth it if you want something gorgeous
