Ladies, Have you bought any Walmart/ Amazon/ Target furniture?
can you share if you were happy with it? we are looking for some pieces and I saw they have dupes of Pottery Barn/ Crate & Barrel on these sites. Are you happy with it?

Yes, all three.
They’re great but don’t last as long.
Got a toddler bed that lasted more than one kid but their stuff is not very well made.
Also folding bed, not too strong.
Great to tide you over until you can afford very solid furniture.

I've gotten a few pieces at target but only things that don't get heavy use. A console, nighstand. NOT a table, chairs, couch, bed etc
I have gotten those from ikea though

Yes
love my sons nightstands from target. I read reviews and only get things w good reviews
love book shelves from target
Don't think I ever ordered from Walmart or amazon.
I only buy things online that can be returned for free so target fits that because if I don't like ot I can just return to store. I bought many rugs from target for this reason even if it was cheaper from wayfair etc because I have the option to return for free

I got a couch from Walmart before I got married. It’s still holding up many years and kids jumping on it later.

I got armchairs from target 4 years ago that are still holding up really well, and dining room chairs from target a few months ago that are surprisingly comfortable and good quality. I specifically will buy the target brand item’s because I have a year return window just in case..
I bought my guest room beds on Amazon which are okay, I wouldn’t get it for my bedrooms that get nightly use

3 couches from Amazon, 3 years in and still doing well-with lots of abuse.
Target-couch that fabric ripped at the seams-they took it back.

I got a dinette bench from Target on sale for about 100 dollars. I thought I was buying it to see if we like the idea of a bench and if we do, then I'd invest in a good one that has upholstery, etc. It's over two years and it's super strong and holding up and we're not replacing it any time soon.

I also bought an outdoor patio set on target, was cheap and flimsy and we returned it.
Outdoor bench swings, I bought two from walmart, excellent quality. One is holding up for 6 years already!!

Oh, and I also got a dresser on wayfair. pretty but very flimsy, cheaply made. DC once toppled it over (dh has since taken care it shouldn't happen again). I wouldn't buy a solid piece from them again.

I’m sure I’ve bought other things as well, but right now the only thing I can remember is my son’s dresser, from Amazon. Oh, does a bassinet count? I bought two from Amazon.

We got my son's bed from amazon. When we moved and finally had a guest room, we bought beds from amazon for the guest room. BIL was horrified that he was going to sleep on an amazon bed when visiting and tried to cancel the order, but we refused to give him our password. (Yes, he has major boundary issues.) MIL came for Shabbos, decided that our beds are so comfortable, and when she moved, she ordered the same bed from amazon which BIL sleeps on without complaining.

I got kitchen chairs from Amazon. I love them. They were on special for $40 a chair and I quickly bought them. The next day they were $200 a chair.....
They are super comfortable, and match my kitchen....I have them for around 2 years and they look like I just bought them.
ETA they are no longer selling them but this is the chair: https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....ss_tl

I buy furniture on Amazon all the time, I just don’t expect it to be crate and barrel quality. If you expect that you’re in for a rude surprise. I knowingly buy junk with the mentality that it’s temporary, until we can afford nice pieces IYH.

From Target, I've gotten a bunch of shelves, cubes, etc. We build them on top of each other. A 6 square bookcase does well for toys in a kids room or toy room, and we can add pieces on top or sides. I especially like these in places where I don't want to have to care about what happens to them.
For other furniture, we've done well with Wayfair- decent price, bli ayin hara seems to last.
