Having an only daughter in a house full of boys im looking to occupy her on sundays...she wants to make bake/cook with a few of her friends every week...(8th grade )
I am thinking of demonstrating a food item and then having the girls make there own and baking it in my house or at home..so far I thought of apple braids, eggplant rollups, blintzes. What other food items can I make? I want something that has more then one part so it can take 1.5 hours...

Good on you for being willing to do this every week. I wonder how long it will last 😉.
You could try
Pizza - make dough from scratch
Pasta from scratch and sauce
Decorated cupcakes/muffins
Borekas with different fillings
Lasagna with made from scratch sauce
Coming up to Chanuka you could do donuts/latkes/churros/ sfinge. Frying takes time.
