I’m new to NJ. I have kids all ages from 5-18.
One of them needs braces and one was born premature but no current issues. We are generally healthy but all wear glasses and need a good dentist. Which plan do you recommend?

Almost all jersey care plans do not cover braces unless it's very, very bad!
Call LRRC for advice!

united healthcare has the most dentist options
but figure out your pediatrician etc first

U need to figure out your doctors first and see which plan they all take. For me, WellCare made the most sense

Dunno which to choose I had the same question. I ended up choosing WellPoint as it seemed most popular after United (one of the Drs I wanted didn’t take United).
But after asking your new potential Drs quickly choose and don’t get stuck waiting like me. I wasn’t sure so didn’t choose right away and delayed my insurance by a month or 2.
I didn’t know that in NJ it’s super easy to switch, if you call before the 15th you can be on the new plan for the following month. (I think these are the dates.) Coming from NY where you can only switch during open enrollment or under extenuating circumstances I had no clue about this.
