Got it. Both Machon Sara and Keser Chaya have wonderful groups of girls and I'm sure your daughter will find a chevra in whichever one she ends up going to. The Machon Sara girls this year are good, solid, from girls who want to grow and are not there to party. Some applied to more yeshivish schools along with Machon Sarah, others to less yeshivish places so there is a range. I can ask my daughter but I don't think anyone there is posting on social media, but there are girls who have more exposure to videos etc than your daughter. I'm sure she can make it work especially if she is more broad-minded as you are describing. It's really a wonderful seminary, and my daughter's friend who is in Keser Chaya is having a great year as well.

Thank you for the information. I'm new to this as she's my oldest. I'm so happy for her to spread her wings and fly especially because she was somewhat stifled in school. She is smart and creative and kind. It's just scary as a parent to let go. I want to make sure she'll be comfortable socially/culturally in her seminary environment. Do u know what kind of girls are in Keser Chaya this year? Are they mostly there to party? My daughter doesn't want that.

I know great girls that went there from London, open minded beis yaakov girls. Good solid girls who are not yeshivish.
I also know really great girls applying there next year. They did actually struggle with a 2nd choice.
Some did seminar, nachlas as 2nd choice.
What I understand about keser chaya, it's a very warm sem but not academic at all and for less serious BY girls.
