Do you feel you would benefit from training? From psychologist? Therapists? Rabbanim? Very experienced principals in the field? also tackling Classroom management, learning disabilities, mental health, social pressures, technology etc.

I see this is something they have in my community for boys high school teachers and I’m wondering if it’s something that girls hs teachers feel would be beneficial.

Obviously it's beneficial but who is paying for the training, for the teacher's time to attend and for a substitute for the class if it is school time?
It's not like teachers get credit for attending which adds to their professional equity.

I would love to attend such a training! I might even be willing to pay for it.

What if it was like under the auspices of an agudah type organization? Fully funded etc?

Schools do have funding sources and some schools do bring down professionals, mostly on PD days. That's the angle of entry you'd want to tackle.

We had training a few times a year. I was under the impression that most of the presenters were affiliated with Torah Umesorah, but I don’t know for sure.

Torah Umesorah has a program were they train teachers and school administrators in diff school settings to recognize if a child needs help and how to get them help and how to support them until they get that help.

I just sub and would like such a training.
My friend goes around to schools and does teacher trainings, but I feel she is too concerned with feelings and validation so I haven't benefited from her methods.

Maybe find a mentor who will give guidance tailored to your needs?

Absolutely! Would love that. The quality of PD differs at every school and it would so nice to have a more expansive formal training

Sign me up!
The question is when exactly it would take place. I teach during the day, and it is so hard to commit to things at night between my kids and smachot.
