I have a wedding and I went to many stores. Can't find anything she likes. She wants something comfortable, but all I'm seeing is weird florals , velvet, corduroy (!), plaids, itchy materials, extra long sleeves, or solid black. Where can I find something cute, but comfortable too? Size 7-9

Maybe you can order a pretty dress you like from Amazon but buy 2 one her size and one the biggest they’ve got and add sleeves
Usually her age you can find tznius on top just missing the sleeves shouldn’t be too expensive each just usually around $50-$75 and adding sleeves shouldn’t be too much

Amazon won't be here for tom.
Went to polka dot, lulu, junee, prince & princess, Lilly and todd. Where else?
I checked bluebells. Most things are tulle, velvet, or heavy materials..

Don't knock it till you try it: Kupath Ezra has I think the biggest selection of simcha wear. People wear once and donate. They open early in the morning, and according to Google they're still open now.

I’m flabbergasted that none of the stores had at least ONE thing you liked?

Kidichic. I bought dresses for Sheva braches there this season.
One green all year round fabric with little black velvet. One black velour, comfy with off white trimming.

I'm gonna try it! But you need mazel there...otherwise will go to Whoopi or f&f as another poster suggested, I didn't check there yet.
I don't know what is wrong with us, but my daughter didn't like anything and neither did I. Was wondering if the nice stuff sold out or I simply cant get used to the current styles...

There was nothing nice this season. I was in the same position as you with my two daughters 7&8 this season. Super sensory and nothing worked for them. I got them into something from kidichic in the end which took a lot of convincing and settling on my end and theirs. Hopefully next season will be better. Hatzlacha

Thanks for your validation. I was pushing myself to spend (it's so not my type), but there was seriously nothing worth it! I don't know why they made such weird styles and prints. Probably bc they know next year everyone is shopping again anyway.
Everything was disposable looking. Sweater materials that pimple, and materials that are not comfortable. Velvet thats too hot. Taffeta = makes crinkly noises. Vintage styles, smocks, and off white do not suit her. Oh well...
