He’s 7 and every type of pants I’ve bought him except for leggings have slipped down. I don’t know if his tush is in a diff spot or what but the pants don’t stay up. He is skinny and I’ve bought boys, girls pants. He needs slim fit or they look too baggy. Any suggestions? I’m willing to pay as long as they stay up lol! His shabbos pants are the lil legs and they too fall down but I love the rest of the fit so we’re gonna stay with those. But for during the week we are desperate to stop what I like to call crackitis once and for all.

I sized up so the crotch was higher. Children's Place works well these days for him.
I also sized up on his underwear upon recommendations here. Thanks to Ima for all the great advice lol.
I think Cat and Jack crotch is also generous.

[quote="UROOT"]Try children's place girls uniform jeggings. (sorry for the long link!) My 4 year old ds looks great in these. They're not too tight and he's husky. He wears a 4.
https://www.amazon.com/Childre.....quote ] I also buy these. My son is skinny.

I would not put jeggings on a 7 year old. My 7 year old is average height and probably weighs about 45 pounds. The size 6 is getting short, although he still wears them. He's moving into size 6x skinny and I pull the elastic tight. The 6x should be good for a while. The 7 will be too big. He been wearing a 6 for at least a year.

My 8-year-old is the same (but he’s not that skinny). I don’t know if it’s his laid-back personality or the way his body naturally moves.
I have him tuck his undershirt into his underwear so that his backside isn’t exposed on a regular basis
And ftr, between my 3 boys, I’ve tried every brand pants and next is the sure winner.
