I don’t know how anyone manages with 2 working parents and childcare. Every year is a struggle to find proper childcare-small enough group that actually takes care of the kids, sufficient hours for my job, location that works, etc. It feels like I have to sacrifice good care for my kids because I need the hours-most of the groups that have extended hours aren’t run well. We both work but I cannot afford expensive daycare or nanny’s and therefore every time the kids are sick, school is off, or anything happens I need to take off work and work at night. The hours are a big issue because places where I live end at 3pm on average and I need more hours.
How do you manage childcare if you and Dh work?

We manage the same way you do🫠
I hate hate where I send but I don’t have much of a choice… wish I can afford more or have better options and I truly feel guilty

My Daycare is open from 7-6

I bring my babies on my way in (we commute together) at 7:45 and pickup at 4:15 (I work from 8-4)

High quality Daycare is very very very expensive
