DS, 7, is average weight. He’s been wearing the H&M pants for everyday but they get washed out so so quickly! I really like slim looking fit, but he’s no longer skinny (he’s not fat tho) so I can’t get very skinny pants. Also, he mentioned about being cold, that the pants are too thin. What do you all recommend?

I like the children’s place skinny pants. It doesn’t have the look of skinny pants more like slim fit and it’s a bit bigger on the top. I still use the toddler size 5 for my 6 year old so not sure if the bigger boys are the same

People rave about Next.
I love Petit Clair but it's pricey, so I'm currently using Kidichic, which is pretty good

Thanks for the responses.
Re childrens place: it’s not such a sharp black. Unless they’ve changed it since I bought for my older son.
Re petit Clair: they used to fit him nicely. Now it’s a little snug and a size up is way too big.
I was wondering about the next pants. Any idea how they run?

My son wears these in husky for a few sizes/years in a row. He's not skinny but not fat either. Usually doesn't wear husky in anything else
