What on earth does this mean? What are the consequences for accepting vs declining these cookies? 🍪🍪

I LOVE that cookie cartoon!
Now I want a cookie, too.

I always accept. Unless if they have raisins in them.

The truth is that Cookie Monster controls the internet. It’s all just a way for him to smuggle cookies around

The advantage of accepting the cookies is that the website remembers you were there, and retains information to allow you to enjoy the site the way you did it last time.
If you decline cookies, the site doesn't remember you were there, and you have to input any information again.

Thank you! I just came back to check on this question . So now I understand about the cookies.
So if I accept the cookies, does the data clog my phone, or its only the company that gets clogged with extra info?
How do I delete cookies I may have accepted in the past?
