I was just getting dressed and realized that I have worn the same black, crewneck cashmere sweater 4x this week. It's ancient (well over 20 years old) and years ago, I had to sew suede elbow patches on it, but it still always makes me feel put together, whether the skirt is denim or velvet.
What's your equivalent?

It absolutely counts. Years ago I had a pair of slippers socks that felt like soft socks but had a nice leather sole. I wore them until they fell apart.

I love my nightgowns. They're so comfy and pretty and I can put a hoodie over them (another item I love) and take my kid to the bus stop without turning heads.

Bra hands down. Anytcan go on top but nothing can go under. Panties can get skipped or substituted in urgency or go without at home and comfy.
But a bra is a must

Came here to write this.
But truthfully every season I have a “go to” either a skirt or top that I wear on repeat.
This season I’m wearing a black skirt and long sleeve black H&M crew neck t shirt that’s sooo soft I bought a few and I just layer a sweater or jacket over it

I once passed a house where a woman was wearing a violet long knit something under a hoodie. I swore it was a nightgown, my kids said it's impossible.
It was inappropriate, let me tell you...
