Most of the time saying someone doesn't look good in short hair is just code for saying they look ugly or fat and you think they need to cover up.
Also most people with long hair that I know (hair, not sheitel) often have their hair up in a pony revealing all their face so the point about using long hair to hide features is just silly
Not your business. EVERYONE looks better in a bob or pixie and thankfully in the chassidishe world you can give your kids the shortest cuts until pre-1a and then bobs or wedges after than until high school where at the moment ponies go.
NOBODY looks better in a pixie and only a very select few look good in a bob. I think short hair on girls is quite atrocious looking and even little girls should be allowed to grow their hair to a Normal length . Moms don’t need to be dictators .
