He gets home around 6. Eats. And then kvetches how bored he is and how he wants screen time until he goes to sleep around 10. He has no other interests. What do boys this age do? He’s way past Lego or anything like that. He has almost no homework. He reads but we cant get to the library more than once a week and he reads tons over shabbos so never has books left over. Also there’s a limit to the amount of age appropriate books.

Does your neighborhood have a night Seder learning program?
My son initially wasn’t interested cuz sounded like more school. But he started once and got hooked. He goes around 8, stays for the 45 min program; and stays for maariv after.
There are a few options for him at the learning Seder. There is a shiur, done story style. Chavrusa learning ends up being mostly shmoozing my son wouldn’t do otherwise. He loves it. Keeps him busy. He earns $1/day, and gets lots of gross candy 🤣. Win/win

I don't have any great suggestions. But are you sure he's past Legos? They make sets for adults. He might enjoy one of the more challenging ones.

He is old enough to handle his own boredom. Boredom is a good thing if he is allowed/forced to solve it himself. Make a list of chores that need doing and let him know that any time he complains about boredom, you will assign him a mandatory chore. Stick to that. He’ll either learn to find his own activities or you’ll have a very clean home. Win-win. On the other hand, if you help him find activities to prevent boredom, he will never learn to solve his own boredom problem. He’ll keep complaining.

My son was exactly like this. Refused to go, was bored. Was used to company at night from his older brother, who went to night Seder.
Somehow, my older son convinced him once to try it. And he’s BH been doing since.
