Omg OP this is hilarious and yes definitely a moment where we’re all this could’ve totally happened to us. Thanks for the good laugh. May this baby grow up to have a great sense of humor and only give you nachas and happy tears.

Friends husband walked to shul with a bra hanging from his Tallis. People stared the entire way. When he came home he was shocked to find his wife weeping in bed. She’s at her in laws, and couldn’t get dressed with no bra in sight! |
This absolutely tops everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those 2 stories are HILARIOUS. and yes sorry for your embarrassment op.
I did teach my DD to keep a snood by the front door for emergencies after I opened the door to someone without covering my hair as a newlywed.
But your story is just hilarious and for sure he didn't notice and if he did he prob didn't identify them as boxers
as for the bra hanging off talit situation....no words

Not really funny but once there was a knock on my door and thinking it was my daughter who I sent over to a neighbor to ask for sugar
I answered the door. It was a chassidish guy asking for tzedaka. Since my door has steps right away he got a full view of my bare feet.
To be fair I usually cover my feet but the one pair I had was ripped and the rest were in the wash.

Oh boy. Reminds me of my story.
A friend of ours from out of the country wanted to surprise us. He had a gift for us but didn’t want us to know. So he called my son in law to make sure we will be home.
My son in law calls me to ask if we will be home between 1-2 on that day. I said yes. Perfect. He lets me know that he is expecting a package. Signature required.
I’m sitting on the couch when the doorbell rings. I’m not wearing a snood. Now ups in my neighborhood rings the bell. They don’t wait too long. So I figure I’m gonna open the door and just quickly sign. I open the door and omg. What a surprise. I shut is so quickly. Ran for my snood and came back to open the door red faced.
I don’t think he will ever surprise me again.

This is already different. I personally don't ever walk around downstairs without my snood, let alone open the door. Maybe keep one by your door if you don't cover up at home.

When I was in sem in Israel, I ran after a bus because I was late and my skirt fell, there were lots of men standing at the bus stop. I can tell you I wanted the earth to open up and swallow me alive. I don't think I have ever been that embarassed. Can you imagine pulling your skirt up in front of an audience.. omg I am still blushing now 17 years later!!
