If your husband has a job how much is he earning?
Specifically a job/salary and not an entrepreneur.
What does he do and what hours ?

Also some transportation paid towards the commute

IT - 90k base for 35 hours a week plus another 20k in overtime, plus the equivalent of around 30k in medical insurance benefits.
ETA Many years experience and he travels to work. I didn't think he was making a lot at all.

These threads make me so sad. DH works 15-16hr days and makes $1500/week. No benefits or anything else and he has to pay for a sub if he ever needs one (so always skipping simchas or important events...)
Kashrus mashgiach with 5 years experience.

Now take off taxes. He'd rather fly under the radar and be taken advantage of than rock the boat.
He's not ambitious, would not ask for a raise because that means disturbing the status quo.

Husband just got his job. Construction field. Some years experience in different parts of construction.
$150k starter salary. 9-6 job.
Does travel twice a week close Philly.
After taxes it's really not enough to live on.
They pay for his gas and tolls.
No other benefits.

220k, been working at this nonprofit for 9 years. It’s still not enough to support our family where we live. Tuition is high, housing is beyond and our teenage girls never stop asking for new clothing etc. frum life is expensive!!
