I’ve heard good reviews on ocean medi spa. Is it hard to get an appointment there? Anywhere else I can go? Looking for people with experience. My prediabetic numbers are 6.4. To qualify for insurance coverage it has to be 6.5. My doctor wants me to take the shots but I can not afford them without insurance. He said to look into the cheaper options. I’m desperate!

I would be very careful about cheap alternatives that may not be safe. Check into it properly, you don't know side effects that will come out in the future.

I would recommend ocean medi spa. It is run by a highly respected nurse practitioner and you’re getting the real thing. I never had trouble getting an appointment.

Maybe eat sugar for a few days and have your number go up a drop and then you’ll get the real one through insurance

Exactly this. I'm always astonished by how many people who would never dare take a Covid vaccine because who knows what's really in it and there wasn't enough testing on its long-term effects are now suddenly desperate to take a compounded pill from any place they can find it, with no way of knowing what else is mixed in and what it could do to them years down the line.

Do they give it. Even if you don't qualify at all?

Just FYI A1C reflects the amount of sugar in your system over a three month period. Eating lots of sugar for a day will spike your glucose number but not your A1C.

No, I tried getting from her and she would not give it to me because it was not right for me. But my friend gets from her because she did not qualify through insurance but really needed it.

I k ow that’s why I wrote for a few days. All she needs is for it to go up .1 and then she’s covered
