Yes I did with rashis commentary. Tell me where it says about gazing at a strange man/ woman when you are in a committed relationship?

You said “gaze at someone for their beauty and become h*rny”

Paul walker. I don't find men attractive (my dh is an exception) and I thought he was really good looking in the fast and the furious.

Hate to burst your bubble but feel free to write this guy off too. He was in his thirties when he started "dating" his high school daughter's friend, who was 16 at the time. I put the word dating in quotes because of the unequal power dynamic. I believe they were still together at the time when he died. Personality matters to me too, and a guy in his 30s who is interested in being with a 16yo is way too creepy to be attractive to me.

If Ben Affleck wouldn't look so glum all the time he would be pretty handsome.

I never really found him that attractive, maybe it's his voice, I don't know. But after that episode where he raged at Sam Harris on the Bill Maher show and ever since, I find him to be pretty insufferable.

Yeah we're not hooking up with these guys...

Lol. Like that's our choice, to stay faithful in our marriages.
Otherwise we'd totally be hooking up with any of these guys every day of the week.

(Im being sarcastic).

I'm gonna take this in a different direction.
Not any specific man, but I find facial hair when kept neat extremely attractive. I never understood the hate toward beards or 'staches. IMO, there's a certain masculinity in a man with facial hair that I fail to see in the clean shaven ones.

I'm surrounded by men who don't trim or shave, they make sure to look neat and cleaned up and IDK, there's a certain chein there.

That's funny, I grew up with beards so I never thought about it but I love beards but I dont like the brushed beard look or when beards are tied up.

Just out of curiosity would you feel comfortable if your DH discussed with friends which celebrities they find hot and what they like about them like dark, thin, etc?

Some of you, if you would find a chat on your DH phone discussing this with friends you would come on here and complain how hurt you feel, how can he talk like that about other women, etc. and some of you would be validating the feelings and agreeing to how wrong it is.

Talk about double standards.

I would not like him going into detail about what specifically he likes but I have no issue with “wow. She’s really pretty.”

I don’t mind if DH finds other women attractive because a) you can’t help how your brain works b) there’s nothing wrong with appreciating beauty if no harm is coming from it

DH finds me beautiful and as long as he’s still emotionally and physically attracted to me and not cheating, he is free to think others are beautiful and even more beautiful than me. My ego can take it

I had to look him up and I'm shocked that he's considered attractive. He looks like a ventriloquist dummy with that puffy filler look. It's plastic surgery gone wrong. It's what I imagine a gay gigolo would look like.

This is a spinoff of a thread discussing female beauty, and I don't think that conversation was lesbian. But men wouldn't have a conversation about which other men are the most handsome, and yeah, that's a double standard for us to find it weird if men do it, but that's the case. This thread is about the same kind of aesthetic appreciation.
