To be clear I don't care if man went to the moon or not (although logically, it makes sense NOT). But I think it's an important exercise to suspend belief of what you were programmed and question the alternative.

What if space isn't real?
What if Helen Keller was a hoax?
What if celebrities are transgender and worship Satan?

All of a sudden everything you "believed" in becomes suspect and shaky ground. It's an incredible mental exercise. And only drives home the point that the whole world is sheker.

What if we are living on the tiny speck on top of the flower that is being held by Horton the elephant in Horton hears a who ???

The number of kids vaxxed are considerably higher so obviously the numbers are higher

We are not talking about the numbers but about the rate of autism

In 1970, 1 in 5,000 kids had non verbal autism

Today, around 1 in 150 kids have non verbal autism.

That is 30 times more!

And autism skyrocketed when CDC tripled the number of vaccines.

Why argue about autism?
Conspiracy theories can be true, or not.
This thread is about the theories.
So make a post of all the autism theories.

Here, I'll add one:
Autism is a catch all for any standard medical practices that you don't like.
(I just made this up. There may be truth to it -or not. )

I don't really believe in conspiracy theories in general. I don't not believe, I just... Can't explain but as soon as it feels like it smacks of conspiracy theorism I'm out. Except for a few things

Yes I think 2020 elections were stolen.
Yes I think certain governments around the world of countries that are supposed to be our friends are innately antisemitic but I don't think that's a conspiracy theory. I think it's fact.
I think Trump is our friend but I always remember kabdeihu vechashdeihu.

No I don't believe anyone is trying to make us sick or control population or all that stuff. My theory on covid and vaccines are they were doing the best they could with the info they had in an unknown territory. About vaccines and autism, I mean it says alot that the guy who initially made that claim was proven to have falsified studies and wasn't he arrested or something? Did People forget?

I'm struggling with something. There is someone I like and thought we could be friends.... Till she started spouting her flat earth beliefs among other stuff. I can't look at her the same anymore. Wasn't even her own theories, came from her husband and she didn't have a way of intellectually explaining herself. Can't look at her the same anymore. She seemed intelligent enough until that point.
I mean seriously?? We have satellites and everything and it doesn't even make sense for the earth to be flat. Like where is the edge,,? Her answer was ocean but.... It's got to end somewhere if the earth is flat.. it just makes no sense to think that in modern times.

This does not apply to non verbal autism.

Actually I don’t think it’s a healthy way to live.
Imagine how unstable, paranoid and cynical kids who grow up with such parents, become.
You don’t need to have blind trust, but you should also not look to disprove everything you see in front of your eyes. It’s exhausting and damaging, and so so unhealthy.

There’s a healthy dose of skepticism, and then there is downright paranoia.

I agree.

I'm a pretty skeptical person, but there is a middle way between being gullible and believing everything and between questioning every single thing.

It's very unhealthy, especially when people start doing crazy things because of what they believe.

But that one is so so like boring and not interesting. I wouldn’t even call it a conspiracy theory.

Yeah, but if you're only questioning the things that conspiracy theorists tell you to question...

What categorizes an idea or belief as a conspiracy theory?
(Over the years ive seen many ideas once labeled as conspiracy theory later proven to be true, hence my question)

It's a conspiracy theory.

It's striking that people are so obsessed with this. As if there's some desperate need to knock down their credibility.

I'm pretty skeptical myself. I have questions about vaccines the whole medical establishment etc.

But who cares about people's sxuality? Let's say she is in fact a trans woman and he's gay ok and? How does that change things? I don't belive it's true but it's fascinating and disturbing that people are obsessed with it.

I just remembered another conspiracy theory I believe.
I think Harry and Mehgan had their baby via surrogacy and Meghan pretended to be pregnant all along.

Her face was very obviously bloated during the pregnancy, how do you explain that?
Or the fact that her figure didn't go back to what it was prebaby, and her breasts seemed larger?
I don't believe this one.

I once watched a Clip where someone tried to claim that vaccinated kids get sick much more often.
They took thousands of records from a medical practice and proved that those children who were vaxxed were about 500 times more likely to come down with ear infections, strep etc.

The obvious flaws in his argument is that moms who don't vaccinate their kids are also far less likely to bring their child into the doctor for ear infections, strep or the like.
Many of these studies assume that people are too dumb to think for themselves.

I want to know more about the Monsey meat scandal, because I was personally affected.

At the time, I had heard that he immediately divorced his wife and moved to Israel. I also heard that he later remarried.

Can someone tell me why people are saying that he was set up?

Yes I think that if we start questioning everything in life it can lead to questions in emunah. Where does it all end? Should we also start questioning if we live in reality? Maybe this is all a dream? And how do you stop all the questions when it comes to hashem and emunah? I believe that the people that question everything in life also have sfeikus in emunah.
