Amazon subscribe and save- frequent user but so frustrated

I've been using Amazon subscribe and save for years. I use it a lot. I get soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, diapers, facial cleansers, toothpaste, garbage bags, deodorant, etc. Lately, I've been getting frustrated that when I try to adjust the shipping date- either sooner or later than the scheduled date- I find that some of my orders get canceled or the prices change. So for example, Amazon had their brand of Ziploc bags on Black Friday special with an additional coupon, so I ordered. But when I tried to reschedule all my subscriptions to ship out, I lost many of those promotions. This never used to happen. Did Amazon change their system? Or am I doing something wrong? Any hacks or can anyone explain?

I had the same problem recently and I saw others complaining about this on another site. I think Amazon changed something and we can no longer switch the date without the risk of losing coupons or having the item cancelled.

Where did you see the complaints?

It was actually not so recent. If you see a good price, you have to get it that month. If you don't want it soon change your delivery date before subscribing.

I thought they've been saying that for a long time. Changing the date can affect any coupons.

Had that for the last few years already. I sometimes can find a copy of the original receipt and manage to speak to them and adjust the price. But 90% of the time it’s impossible cuz Amazon will change everything to reflect the new price and the old price is gone. Also the receipts they send via email are super unclear and only take you to the page which already has the updated price.

This is even if I choose to get it that month but just push it up or off a bit.

Yes, they've been saying that, but it's never happened to this extreme. This frustrating system change is maximum few months old. I'm guessing not more than six months.
