Most shells I bought recently look like they've already been washed many times and are almost sheer. That goes for black as well as white ones.
Is there a company that makes the shells thicker and of better quality? Looking for black, white, and ivory.

Try a size up, when you wear one that's not being pulled too tight and it's not sheer. PB&J most comfortable.

I'd love to try a different company. Anything else that's good quality and maybe a bit thicker?

I have one from Anna Meyer for more than 10 years and it’s still nice.

I tried googling it and I found old threads on this from many years ago. Looks like they don't make them anymore.
