I'm writing a song for a camp. I'm looking for a good tune.
Any ideas for a happy upbeat tune for a camp theme song?
Thanks!

Most mainstream camps already used these. You're better off digging around in the '80s music from another country (Israel, maybe, if you want strictly Jewish) for something nobody here ever heard of.

That's true. I found it hysterical how it seemed like every camp used aih tumid/Rebbe its all from you.
They were both catchy, geshmake tunes, but overdone.

Any chance you'd share the lyrics? I know I'm asking for a lot. I totally understand if you don't want to!

Try listening to the old pirchei songs
London, Yerushalayim
Amudei Shaish
They had easy catchy tunes.
For example yekum purkan

Most of these are older songs. (By older I mean not in the last six months)
I am a lyricist and I write camp songs for many, many camps. Most camps want a new song that just came out. That’s why you have all the camps using the same tunes. They want the new, catchy tunes.
Occasionally I’ll go back many, many years and find a tune that wasn’t so popular that today’s teens aren’t familiar with.
Of course, the best is having a tune composed specifically for your camp.
