Filling out school applications for the first time..who are good people to write as family references? Most of our friends and neighbors are young couples around the same age as us. Our family rav and shul rav are a separate question on the applications. Is it socially off to write an aunt? What are some other ideas?

It’s fine to give young neighbors and friends. They usually call their own connections and not your references anyway.
