The bais medrash? It's supposed to be a very shtark yeshivish high level yeshiva. My son was thinking of going there. He's by r shlomo feivel Schustal in lakewood. I believe they're similar.

Oh interesting. So it’s for aleph style boys. Why would a boy from Lakewood choose to go there and not Rav Shlomo feivel or somewhere similar in Lakewood?

Probably small nuances. Not everyone gets in everywhere... so there are a few similar choices..?I don't know that lakewood boys specifically try to stay in lakewood at the point that they're in bais medrash. I think they go to the best fit.

Ok very helpful. Thank you. When I asked around I was told “you must mean x ( a different yeshiva in Monsey) but we knew that didn’t make sense given the context.

My nephew is there.
Smart, yeshivish, but he's chilled. I don't know if it's super intense.
This nephew isn't super intense. Like he'll only wear white shirts and learn bein hazmanim, but not for hours each day.

For the most part would you say that you can assume a boy there is smart and possibly but not necessarily intense?
