I was about to start a thread but realised I had no section to post it in

The one for otd and rebellious teenagers isn't really relevant at this point. The dynamics change once they are adults and no longer at home. I would expect the feedback to be quite different too and wouldn't want to hear from parents who are still in that earlier phase.
Please mods could you consider a more relevant section?

Unless I just can't find it and it exists. Please let me know

I would love to see a new section as well. OP if you are part of the kesher nafshi group, there are whatsapp groups you can go on that talk about these things. There is a halacha chat as well where u can ask rabbis your shealos.

Maybe a private forum for parents of adult children to discuss multiple issues?

Have you been to a kesher nafshi Shabbaton? You would have to do that first to be joined into the group, simply because it is a mehalach they want you to learn first.

Mods can't create boards. That falls under Yael's domaine. I believe Yael usually wants about 20 people interested before creating a group, I'll report this thread to bring it to her attention, and I'm the meantime keep track of the votes and comments.

The otd teenage group gets very little posts. I think it would be a shame to separate teen/adult. We can just change the name to otd teens and adults. Any questions posted there is usually relevant to any age(if not today, then in a few years! Crying )

I think it would be helpful to have a section relevant to adult children only (but not necessarily including otd ones who really have different issues)

I probably shouldn't have given an option for no because it's not really relevant if they don't think we need it if we have enough people who are interested

I think it's good for parents of adult otd kid to weigh in on the teenage topics for the mom's of OTD kids sake to be able to get advice from the experienced but I personally would prefer hearing from people with more experience. I find that parents who are just starting out on this difficult journey are just at a different place and mindset.
