We’re going to have dinner with friends. Tapas was suggested. Can anyone tell me how it was? I heard you have to order 2 or 3 per person… are portions really that small? Just looked at their menu, it seems very limited. Isn’t it better to go to a steak restaurant with a bigger menu?

They used to have in in deal
The concept is that it is only appetizers
No mains
It ends up being cheaper than a steakhouse
But still waiter service nice place.
My DH really likes it
It’s a different vibe than a steak house
I wouldn’t compare the 2
I like it for going out with friends we get a bunch of the apps to share.

My husband used to go a lot when they were located in deal. He hasnt visited the lakewood location just yet, but the food was amazing!! If youre looking for a steakhouse, go to a steakhouse. This is a different kind of restaurant where most of their dishes are appetizer style so that you can have a bigger variety vs 1 large steak. 😀

I’ve never been to Tapas but if you’re looking for delicious dining and willing to spend, try one of the many local steakhouses. Tomahawk, the Loft, char q, seared.. or entree which is delicious and well priced.

Havent been to that one but I love the concept. Im the type that rather try new things than eat just one big steak. When I go out with friends we often order a bunch of appetizers and share. So thats the whole point of a tapas restaurant. Its not for everyone my husband would rather a good steak.

I recently went for the first time and we really enjoyed the food. Everything was fresh and tasty. We got 2 apps and 1 dessert. I was stuffed but I think my husband could've eaten another app

I Lime TAPAS because I love appetizers & when we go to a steakhouse, we generally only order several appetizer & dessert.

Looks like you can order the entire menu if you’re with a bunch of people. That sounds like fun.
