A little background here. When I got married, one of the first things I told my husband was - you are the man, I let you do whatever you please regarding our finances. I dont need to be part of any decision (besides for major ones). I said that as I knew he is responsible and his father is an accountant to back him. I am the one that brings in a bulk of the money but I knew that he will do what he needs to.

Fast forward, 2 years, I am so frustrated. Turns out, my father in law is not the most organized person and we are finding ourselves in a huge mess that needs to be solved. It involves medicaid, legal addresses, govnt related stuff etc.

I am now coming to eat my own garbage as had I been involved, it would've most likely not have happened (everything is bashert though I'm a very organized person who thinks straight forward)

I am not coming here for anyone to bash my husband as this is clearly not his issue. He asked his father before doing anything.

I am coming here for support and im curious if anyone else is in my situation and how they handled it.
