I just went to evergreen in lakewood. Liebers chocolate chips are 2 bags for $5. Butter on the other hand..... when did that get so expensive?

It has some cocoa, lots of sugar and some flavorings. Taste is a matter of what you like but texture is objectively off. It doesn't melt nicely and is kind of grainy in things like cookies.

I’m one of those who gives my kids choc chips in their yogurt- it’s the plain Greek unsweetened 2 percent fat nothing wrong with that. Btw I wld rather use anything else than flavored choc chips those r so u healthy with added fake flavoring and coloring

This thread has done me a big favor. I was debating whether I should go to Trader Joe today, as I am sure it will be crowded. Based on this I am going to go and get some chocolate chips! (Mind you, I have two packages already in my freezer.)

We happen to have a chocolate store an hour away from us. I believe that company (Barry Callebaut)sells on Amazon too. Google chocolate stores in your area.
