I am hosting a challah bake at 2ish. Do I need food and if so any ideas what I was thinking like a coffee station and then just some pastries and a veggie platter. Anything else is that enough?

2 is after lunch so technically it's enough. Do you want to do more? If yes, I might add a dip or two for the veggies, some fruit and possibly some mini wraps or sandwiches. These however are not strictly necessary.
