This is not for girls "at risk".
It's for girls that are "on their own derech!"
Op, what's your daughter up to?
Is she struggling a little? Bnos Miriam might be a better choice.
All depends on what you call struggling.

This is for girls with trauma. Amazing school but not for just any girl.

What does that mean “on their own derech”. What kind of school is shalva and where is it located?

Each of the schools mentioned cater to girls struggling in different ways. Sending a struggling girl to the wrong school for her needs won’t be helpful. You need to talk to someone who can direct you based on your specific needs. These schools exist and do wonders for the right girl, but it needs to be right. You can reach out to Nesivos. They can help weed out what is right for your kid, and provide you with many other resources as well. They were immensely helpful to me and my family.
