Hi this is random just curious what people out there do.
Also I meant to add a last option, "it's embarrassing 😳" but it didn't add and I don't know how to add it now

If I wash it once a week, otherwise it will be threadbare in a few months. for those who do wash every week, does your linen not get thin or faded fast? ( I have real high quality linen, but still feel its a bit excessive)
I wash every other week for the most part.

Never found that to be an issue and I’ve been doing it for years. My linen lasts for a very long time.

There is something wrong if your linen will be threadbare in a few months because of washing. Expensive linen doesn't always equal quality linen.
Lots of oxygen bleaches may cause fabric to become thin. Fading of colors is caused by bleaching agents and optical brighteners (check your detergent what it contains)
I dont change once a week.

Why are we assuming that someone who washes less than once a month finds it embarrassing?

Probably because so many people consider it neglectful/dysfunctional.
Same with showering less frequently - showering daily is considered normal, so if someone showers once a week before shabbos in the winter they're not going to smell but they probably don't want to announce their showering habits for fear of being called disgusting and unhygenic.

Idk what do you think? How often do you wash your linen and how do you feel about it? I am no paragon of housekeeping I promise!

You can have multiple sets and your washing schedule and linen changing schedule could be different

I change the bed linen every other week if it is reversable, every week if it isn't.

Our linen is washed twice a week for 2 reasons:
1. My daughter and I have bad dust mite allergies and need to wash the linen at least that often plus vacuum carpet, couches, curtains etc in order to keep the allergies to a manageable level.
2. We hired cleaning help specifically to take care of this.
If we didn’t have the allergies and cleaning help I would probably wash twice a month.
Just saying this to keep others from feeling guilty.

Just as you presumably change your underwear every day but wash them once every week or two, not every day, unless you have only two sets and have to wash by hand every day.
