They said it's not intensely yeshivish but more like camp bais yakov. They considered it middle of the road

My friend worked in Machaneinu this past summer. She said it's not for yeshivish girls.- they got a lot of girls from Lehava (that closed down). I think Camp Tal is getting a more BY/yeshivish crowd.

What about machaneinu makes it not yeshivish?

Why no ice skating? You won't buy clothing at a mall or no hanging out at a mall?

Hang out or go to malls.. the culture is not so great. Ice skating skirts fly up it’s kind of like dancing and bumping into males. I didn’t say me I said this is a hashkafa difference.

There are camps where knee socks aren't sufficient? Girls have to wear tights or stocking in the summer?

I know personally that machaneinu is yeshivesh and an amazing solid bais Yaakov camp and they DID NOT take every Lehava camper.

I heard that it’s getting a nice combination of in and out of town . Their main criteria is that it be a BY girl . Not a brands type of camp . And not old fashioned laid back . A very normal , healthy place with an exciting program. Apparently , a few hundred girls already applied

Is it too late to apply? How much are they charging - is it comparible pricewise to camp bais yaakov or more like machaneinu?
