Owalas spill a lot and make a big mess
A few teachers in my daughters school do not allow them anymore because they flood the classroom when they fall (or your home )

I put ice and water in in in the morning, and the ice is still there when I come home from work hours later!
off brands can still be quality items! Only thing it doesn't have is the Stanley logo |
Over the last year, I got two off brands from Amazon for $10 each. Totally keeps cold water cool—even without ice sitting in a hot car all afternoon when we’re on vacation.
Just not spill proof and you don’t get to choose which pattern is on sale.

The neighbor has one so the other neighbor gets one and everyone on instagram has one now too which is why every girl in the class has one also or needs one asap. Suposedly every girl. Except for the ones who are too cool to care but they care they are just making a statement by doing the opposite and going against the norms of what everyone else is doing.

But such a crazy world!
Drink bottles need to be in! And fashionable! Omg! |
I literally was having this conversation with my teen niece. I was like "Ok, let's try think of something that DOESN'T need a brand name. Um.....oh, a hairtie?" And she was like "No, all the girls wear Lululemon hairties" I guess they daven really really hard that their hairtie doesn't snap??
Crazy world!

I have the simple modern dupe and I love it, however it’s definitely not spill proof. However I think any water bottle that is personalized will be appreciated and as an aside it’s actually useful!
I actually have a couple of hydroflask flip straws I’m also very happy with I have the huge 40oz which doesn’t fit in a cup holder so I got the Stanley dupe from Simple Modern since it was on sale then. For my kids I have engraved 12oz Hydroflasks like these - they have free engraving now and are great quality: https://www.hydroflask.com/12-.....w-cap

The Free Sip, usually the 24 oz version but I also see the 32 oz. Funnily enough, the brand also has a 40 oz tumbler that looks basically identical to the Stanley. Ah, the trend cycle!

I need to get a gift for someone but I don’t want it to be out of style by the time she gets it!

LOL I had no idea what a Stanley was until I got halfway down the first page of this thread. I gather it is some kind of water bottle. What does it mean that a specific water bottle is "IN"? sounds kind of crazy to me. Just a bottle to drink out of, what difference does it make what its called and what it looks like?
