If someone couldn’t afford two pairs for their son then these would be a great option to be used as both weekday and Shabbos
They can pass for shabbos for a toddler. I can't see my 4 year old in this for shabbos but he wouldn't fit into them regardless. If your 4 year old does he's probably pretty small so might look ok. I got shoes with laces for my 4 year old.
My 3 year old has them for both weekday and shabbos. He’s so active on shabbos I want him to be comfortable so I haven’t gotten him any shabbos shoes yet.
I got velcro shabbos shoes on Nordstrom for my four year old. I don’t know how to link but it’s called Berwyn II Slip-On. It should come up if you search for it. I think it’s frum style

I agree! I usually end up putting him in normal weekday shoes during the day but for simchas I would like him to have a nice shabbos shoe. He has very wide feet though so the other styles don't often fit and the loafer style he doesn't like
