I traveled this morning, and we were running pretty late. After finally getting through the insane lines at baggage check, the tsa agent was convinced I was hiding something in my bra. They made me wait a good 15 minutes, and told me to take a seat which I refused to do, because I was on pins and needles terrified of missing my flight. They finally got another agent to take me to a private room, where they made take my top off for them and asked me if there's nothing hidden behind my underwire. I told them about 10 times before we got to the private room that it's just my underwire, and if they can please let me go because I was running extremely late, but they didn't give a hoot. I was close to tears when they let me go. I now understand all the hate they get.

As a well endowed woman, what am I supposed to do? Not wear a bra to the airport? It is beyond ridiculous.

I do get that they're doing their job, but when you have a flight to catch on one of the shortest Fridays of the year, this is the last thing anyone wants to encounter.

We made it to our plane 10 minutes before they closed the gate, and I arrived with more than enough time for shabbos. TYH for that.

We didn't have much of a choice with the Friday travel, but yea, we wouldn't do it if it weren't necessary.

I’m a 32HH. I got the Panache wire free sports bra. They hold really well and are super comfy. I only travel in that bra

All of my experiences with the TSA have been horrible. If they're not rude to me, I've witnessed them being rude and overbearing to others.

And I'm unconvinced that their actions do much beyond what other countries do for security to prevent terrorism.

I get pulled over for extra checking every single time because I wear a padded bra. I started wearing a zip up shirt so that they assume the machine beeped because of the zipper and then let me go quicker.

I just traveled through the Rome airport with 4 frum women. 2/4 of us were stopped. We had to endure a fairly invasive pat down. The agent really groped me. I realized later that it was either the zipper on my pullover or my underwire that set off the alarm. One of the others felt fairly sure that we were identifiable as Jews and were stopped to harass us. Not sure, but it was really unpleasant.

There’s no such thing for us as necessary travel Friday. I can’t think of a medical emergency that would make travel necessary on a Friday, but other than a real emergency, we don’t fly anywhere on Friday. The TSA is horrible. Clearing customs can be an ordeal if you’re traveling from one country to another. Airlines are unpredictable and worst of all, won’t let you get off the plane after boarding so if there are delays you’re basically stuck. Op, what the TSA put you through is awful and unacceptable but you should really think twice before booking a flight for Erev Shabbos.
