Is Atlantic City an appropriate place for a frum yeshiva couple for a one day getaway? What is the vibe there? Are there luxury hotels and spas?

Last time I was there a few years ago, it wasn’t nice at all - very run down and seedy. I had no desire to go back.

We went to the ocean hotel. Its beautiful, new and well priced in the off season. We had a nice walk on the boardwalk in the morning. I wouldn't go at night. We really enjoyed our vacation.

I also heard that there are some very nice hotels that are quite affordable and I always wanted to check it out.
We went to Atlantic City once for a day trip with the kids and it was really bad. Lots of homeless on the streets.
I don’t know if there are different sections of Atlantic City but after that time I never thought about going back.

You can go to Deal NJ.
AC is not a nice vibe at all.
