Uhh no… mom of many boys here. They do not need to touch themselves in order to aim

This depends on a lot of factors including height, posture, and natural angle. They can somewhat control the angle but the p-nis is not prehensile and it's very common for men not to be able to aim perfectly without using their hand to aim. In fact, some seem to struggle to aim even when they do use their hand...

I had one son that had meatal stenosis (it is a narrowing of the hole which is caused by the bris) and he was the only one yhat had to hold to aim until he had surgery(and it still went iverywhere). Sinc3 he has had surgery he doesn't need tk touch.
Many people are not aware of this condition and think that their child is not managing to aim correctly, I am lucky that my son had it badly so it was very obvious something was wrong. Some kids only have it slightly and they can have it dilated and not not surgery.

יזהר שלא יאחוז באמה וישתין אם לא מעטרה ולמטה מפני שמוציא ש"ז לבטלה אלא אם כן הוא נשוי ומדת חסידות ליזהר אפילו הנשוי:
Unless he is married, one should take care not to grasp the organ except from the corona downwards and urinate, lest he bring forth seed in vain. However, it is a pious practice to take such care even if one is married.
אפי' מי שאינו נשוי מותר לסייע בבצים:
It is permitted to aid [urination] from the testicles and below, even for one who is not married.
לא הותר לנשוי לאחוז באמה אלא להשתין אבל להתחכך לא:
One who is married is not permitted to grasp the organ except to urinate. However, he is not to brush against it.
