Depending on how far deep into Bonnie Ridge it will be, that doesn't sound very convenient to people in Greengate. Seems like a location closer to Greengate would be a much better location because that is the next up and coming area for families to move into.

Bumping this.
I heard families live there already.

I don’t think it’s really taking off.
Stevenson is growing and has a shul and an eruv.

Bonnie ridge didn’t build a shul right away (they are apparently working on it now but ksa won’t use it.) a gate was opened in the back of Bonnie ridge and the shul is currently in the basement of liberty jewish center. Plenty of families ended up buying houses in greengate/falls/greens at smith. There are around 60 people every shabbos so it is definitely safe to say it has taken off Smile

I meant Bonnie ridge hasn’t taken off the way it wanted to. People like Rabbi Iser and walk from other neighborhoods to go there. The question was if Bonnie ridge is all frum and the answer is no. People who are getting married aren’t moving there. There are some frum people but it’s not like the other apartments that have lots of frum people.

Would you recommend someone who is moving to Baltimore from a different state to move to that area? Or rather a more central area?

It’s a really nice shul and a great crowd! But if you’re not ready to buy a house or townhouse then it may make more sense to rent something more central. The above poster is correct that Bonnie ridge apartments didn’t pan out. Very few families ended up renting there.
